I’ve always been a fan of the Korg Triton for it’s awesome drums and synths. But is it just me but Korg is trying to milk the Triton series for all it’s worth. I mean wasn’t the the Korg Triton LE the same as the TR76. Why didn’t they just come out with something totally different. I’ll definitely let you know what’s up with this one.
Well the relief is that they added new sounds as well as the original Triton classics that you’ve heard on so many hit records. They also added new sampled piano’s and guitars. I thought that the original Triton piano’s were horrible. So that should be real good news to those that know exactly what I mean. For all you that love the Korg Triton for it’s drum samples and sounds how about the TR76 music workstation with 470 high-quality multisamples and 518 outstanding drum samples. This will give you a nice selection to create with.
I know i knocked it but the Korg TR76 has it’s own features that may sway new and old Triton lovers to give it a second look. Like every new musical instrument or device that comes out these days, the TR76 is has a USB port for easy interfacing with your computer. You also can use SD cards so that’s a definite plus. I remember losing a bunch of songs dealing with the Triton and floppies that just went bad for no reason and you know how hard it was to find a scsi zip.
I’ll present more features in the smaller Korg TR61 version.
