The Roland MV8000 is one hot piece of machinery. Only question I have will be it’s longevity. Let’s face facts, it’s not an mpc “industry standard”. It’s packed with more features and punch than the now defunct Akai MPC 4000.  Wow Akai geesh!

It’s amazing but people are so stuck on the MPC that nothing matters. Frankly I’ve always been a Roland fan. So would I push an MPC on the side to use the Roland MV 8000? You bet! It really is the nicest of the two.

The Roland MV8000 is easy to use and edit especially when using the vga expansion.  Just plugged that bad boy up to a nice flat lcd joint and you got it made.  For all you fruity loop users the song pattern feature will be like second nature to you.

The MV8000 even have a crazy feature called pix jam that let you add video clips and play them with the pads.  This is great for DJ’s to flip out videos on the wall while entertaining the dancing club patrons on the floor.

It’s compatible with popular sound formats including the mpc. You can easily throw in a CD in the drive and rip off a loop.  You can go from start to finish with studio-Quality Effects and CD-RW Drive. If you want to quickly turn raw samples into a song then nothing else compares.
