At a time when most people are going for drum samplers Zoom has reverted back to good old fashion drum machine with the Zoom Streetbox SB-246.
Always known for bringing out their producer on a budget items, this is no exception. Unlike other modules this one has been program by real hip hop producers. The Streetbox SP-246 like all Zoom products have a very minor learning curve so even beginners and start creating in no time.
The Zoom Streetbox hip hop drum machine loop recorder comes with 500 sounds and over 100 ready to use patterns. The sounds include all your normal drums sounds, claps and hits but also include over 25 bass and synths. It has over 70 kits. Everything from the east to west coast, even down to the dirty dirty south. It also has old school, ehtnic, techno stuff so those into dance can vibe with it also.
The SB-246 also feature an ez loop recording that allow you to quickly create beats. It has some nice multi effects also like a compressor, lo-fi, and rez filters. Of course there the normal eq, reverb and chorus and a few others.
Another great feature is the realtime song shuffler for instant remixes. Now you can create an intro, verses, fills and breaks with total ease. You have total control of this beat machine with 13 touch senstive pads.
